DCs Mickey Webb and Jacob Banks investigate a suspected arson attack on the home of Brendan Moody. Moody's neighbour, and even his son Kelvin, are among the suspects, but landlord Richard Stirling, who had been trying to develop the property, has the biggest motive. When Stirling arrives at the station with his very attractive barrister, Naomi Woods, Webb is surprised to discover Naomi is his colleague Jacob's wife. Then a badly decomposed body is found in the basement of Moody's burnt out home.../ After a hit-and-run incident, a teenage girl Caitlan Harris, is rushed to hospital, and the witness, a woman Kim Yates claiming to be her mother, turns out to be a missing person.
