This 2 year warranty is on top of the 1 year warranty that is included(gives you a total of 3 years) from the manufacturer and is only valid with PVRs that are below $500 in price. United warranties are only valid and available for purchase with hardware that is still under the manufacturers warranty and with in the first year of purchase.
