IceTV for business · YuVu.TV
Business Solutions
Accurate, independently curated EPG metadata for Australian free-to-air TV, plus the Smart Recording technology behind IceTV. Used by local and international businesses through our business arm - YuVu.TV.
Australia’s independent EPG
YuVu curates its own electronic program guide for every Australian free-to-air channel, using our own software. We build the guide so that we own its copyright, free of any copyright owned by a broadcaster. That means your business can license it for a wide range of commercial uses.
Every guide passes a two-stage check: first by our content engine, then by our content management team. Programming changes throughout the day go to our servers as they happen, so the guide stays accurate.

A commercial licence to our curated EPG metadata, to analyse, to show on your website, or to power your own products and services.
Integration through our API
Add our EPG to smart TVs, set-top boxes, PVRs and NAS devices, delivered over IP. Use the metadata to recommend and cross-promote streaming (OTT) content, or add an interactive TV guide to your website that brings visitors back.
White-label Smart Recording
Series and keyword recording, advanced search and remote recording from a phone or browser, in apps and a web experience carrying your own brand. Outside Australia, we can ingest your country’s EPG metadata.

Questions
Licensing FAQ
Can we use the EPG to build a TV guide app for the Australian market?
Yes. Because the guide is curated independently, it can be licensed for almost any application. The only uses we restrict are ones that compete directly with IceTV and YuVu.
Does it cover all of Australia?
Yes: every free-to-air channel in metro and regional areas of every state and territory. It does not include Foxtel, or datacast channels such as infomercial, religious and horse racing channels.
Do you supply images?
Yes, with the Premium feed: JPEG images in both poster format and 16:9.
Do you have historical schedules?
Yes, historical scheduling data is available.
How is it licensed and priced?
There are licensing and pricing tiers by application, usage and the combination of metadata you need. For Smart Recording, a clear specification of your application helps us reply in full.
Can we try it first?
Yes. We can send a sample feed, and once approved a test feed is available straight away. Contact YuVu to ask for one.
I just want a TV guide for my own recorder.
That’s IceTV. See the IceTV subscription, or XMLTV for media centre software.
